"Hi, my names Meika, I'm 37 and a single Mum to my two boys who are 14 & 10. I first started working in the fitness industry when I was 18, a lifetime ago now!
I took a break in my gym floor career to have my children and then added some more qualifications to my name in 2020 and have exclusively been coaching women for the past 4 years.
I have always been passionate about health, sport and fitness. Even more now that I am getting older. I understand and appreciate the importance of nutrition and exercise for our mental and physical wellbeing so much more.
I have always been a very sporty person. I love my daily dog walks, riding my bike, playing netball, paddle boarding, lifting weights and training outdoors. I have more recently started to enjoy running and competing in events to keep pushing myself. I have just ran the London Marathon raising money for a children's charity. When I was younger I used to ride horses competitively and as a teenager competed on the English team.
I am a truly supportive wing woman to everyone I coach. I believe that you need to find your own passion for what movement you love in life and then you will find it easier to do more of it! I love the personalised approach we get to deliver our clients inside the FitQueen method. I thrive on helping busy women in their 30s upwards find their own healthy & happy lifestyle balance, achieve their goals and ultimately feel energised!"
